Mithra Sport, along with its flagship Ozone Eyewear brand of sportive sunglasses and ski wear products, announced that it will introduce its new design and marketing strategy in time for ISPO 2005.
Mithra Sport, a privately held firm in Barcelona Spain, recently recruited marketing and design professionals with experience in the competitive California market of the United States to assist in an aggressive in-house design and marketing plan. Up until now, its Ozone Eyewear brand, one of the very few exclusive brands from the Iberian Peninsula, relied on a more conservative approach to its product marketing and placement.
With an almost total overhaul of design from product to website to packaging, Mithra Sport is set to aggressively promote its new marketing strategy in time for the 2005 season which gets underway with the ISPO 2005 convention in Munich, Germany.
Mithra Sport, which astutely keeps a watchful eye on its bottom-line in order to consistently offer its purchasers higher retail margins is now able to incorporate this cost cutting philosophy with the utmost in innovative product design and development by keeping its evolving marketing program entirely internal. More impressively, this bold new development will nonetheless keep in line with this strict cost cutting philosophy leaving margins unchanged.
“Our traditional approach, up until now, drew considerably upon our product development reflecting the trends that were being exhibited through store sales and re-orders from our distributors”, comments Raphael Serra, President of Mithra Sport S.A.
